Trespasser stabs, kills female high school student

On Monday, The Stockton Police Department arrested an unidentified man at Amos Alonzo Stagg High School after stabbing and killing a female high school student attending classes on campus.

He had been detained by campus cops after allegedly entering through an unlocked gate and killing the unidentified girl.

It’s unknown if the suspect has any connection to the victim. The Sacramento Bee reports she was 15.

“A trespasser entered in front of our school today and stabbed one of our students multiple times,” Stockton Unified School Supt. John Ramirez Jr. said during an afternoon news conference.

“Unfortunately, she did not make it.”

The school district described the suspected killer as “a trespasser” in a tweet that said he was in custody and the victim was transported to a hospital.

There is no known motive for the attack.
