As the world celebrate 2017 Children Day on the 27th of May, Network producer Company, GLOBACOM has reiterated the dire need for the creation of opportunities for the young child in the development of any nation.
Glo hammered on this in their statement issued in commemoration of the celebration, identifying the government, parents, guardians, teachers and school heads as key stakeholders in the development of children.
“Relevant stakeholders in the government and private sector , including parents , guardians, teachers and school proprietors are encouraged to put in more efforts in the development of children to enable them to become responsible adults in the future.”
“We also need to work towards creating more opportunities for this growing generation while deploying resources towards their holistic development and survival. ”
“We urge the Federal Government to double efforts at implementing development strategies that will ensure the provision of basic needs for the children and secure their wellbeing.”
