Didier Drogba has joined Samuel Eto’o and Demba Ba to condemn the remarks credited to two French doctors who announced that testing the effectiveness of coronavirus vaccine should begin in Africa.

The 42 year old Chelsea and Ivory coast player who considered the doctors’ statement racist has taken to his social media platforms to condemn the statements.

“It is inconceivable that we continue to accept this. Africa is not a laboratory. I strongly condemn these serious, racist and contemptuous remarks,” Drogba said.

“Help us save lives in Africa and stop the spread of this virus which is destabilizing the whole world, instead of considering ourselves as guinea pigs,” he added.

He further stated that “It is absurd! African leaders have a responsibility to protect people from these heinous plots.”

Professors Jean PAUL Mira and Camille Locht made the assertions on French Television Channel LCI.
