Royal congratulatory cables extended to India, Congo leaders on Independence Day

King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia have conveyed warm congratulations to leaders of India and Congo on the occasion of their respective Independence Days.

“Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, extended his heartfelt wishes to President Droupadi Murmu of India on the commemoration of her nation’s Independence Day”.

“The monarch expressed his hope for the Indian president’s enduring health and happiness, while also conveying his aspiration for continual progress and prosperity for the government and people of the Republic of India”.

Echoing the sentiments of the King, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who also holds the position of Prime Minister, conveyed his own congratulatory message to President Droupadi Murmu of India. His wishes emphasized the importance of the Indian president’s well-being, alongside a shared aspiration for ongoing advancement and prosperity for the Indian nation.

Additionally, on the same day, King Salman extended similar felicitations to President Denis Sassou Nguesso of Congo on the occasion of the Congolese Independence Day. In his message, the King expressed his genuine desire for the Congolese president’s continued health and joy, and extended his hopes for unwavering progress and prosperity for the government and citizens of the Republic of the Congo.

“Subsequently, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sent his own message of congratulations to President Denis Sassou Nguesso, aligning with King Salman’s sentiments in conveying a sense of unity and goodwill on the Congolese Independence Day”.

“This exchange of diplomatic congratulations serves as a testament to the enduring bonds of friendship and cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of India, as well as the Republic of the Congo, as these nations mark significant milestones in their respective histories”.
